With 300's more common now then ever before, you would think bowling one wouldn't be all that special. However, there's always going to be something nerve-wracking about stepping up in that tenth frame knowing you need 3 strikes to obtain perfection, whether you've never done it before or have twenty under your belt. And there's no better feeling then watching the pins tumble on that 12th shot knowing you did it in front of your peers.
Such was the case for Vinny Sanquini this past Thursday night in the 9:15 PM Foursomes league at South Levittown Lanes. Vinny, 28, rolled his second career 300, his first coming in the last game of the last night of league bowing last season at the same venue. Vinny was locked in from the get-go, en route to a 739 series.
Vinny started bowling 6 years ago and has steadily improved ever since, currently sporting a 219 average. We look forward to hearing some more top honors from him in the future.
