They knew it was gonna happen. And they both called it.
Last night in the Tuesday Doubles League at South Levittown Lanes, the doubles team of Jay Nikol and Silk Braddon were in trouble. After 3 games (they bowl 4 games per night), they trailed 19-1. And being as they were in second place and bowling the first place team, they knew they had to get themselves in gear.
So Braddon walked over to Nikol and said, "I'm shooting tre."
Nikol responded "you too?"
And so it was.
Congratulations to Nikol and Braddon for tying the world record for a one game doubles team in shooting 600 (perfect game for each of them). Nikol, using the Hammer Black Widow 2.0, shot his 32nd career ace while Braddon, using the Storm IQ, shot his 29th. Great shooting, fellas!
