The first-in-the-nation Bowling Center TV (BCTV) is now broadcasting on a dozen screens at the Rockville Centre alleys.
BCTV offers exclusive short-form content specifically curated for the bowling community. There are bowling tips, bowler profiles and news on tournaments. Aside from the bowling information, viewers will find entertainment news, trivia, localized weather and traffic.
Additionally, a scrollbar across the bottom of the screen features news and sports scores.
"We are always looking for new ways to enhance the customer experience, and we are excited to be the first bowling center in the nation to offer this engaging content, which appeals to both our avid and casual bowlers,” said Joe LaSpina, Vice President of Maple Family Centers, which owns Maple Lanes RVC and four other bowling centers. “The screens are big and beautiful, and reaction from our customers so far has been very positive.”
BCTV is shown on 55-inch Samsung flat-screen TVs throughout the center.
BCTV, which has a website at this link and can be purchased by any bowling center, is a WIX network site, which is a website builder. The website itself was opened in June of 2023 and it looks to be the next in technological advances for bowling centers.
