Everyone knows Keith Pappas. He's been around the game for about 40 years and was instrumental in helping to get NY Bowling centers reopened during the current pandemic.
What some people don't know is that he lost a leg a few years back following a horrific golfing accident. But despite his trials and tribulations, somehow he returned to bowling and he showed why he was one of the best bowlers on the island tonight.
Congratulations to Pappy for putting together games of 279, 279 and 259 for the 817 series tonight in the Charles McShane Classic League at South Levittown Lanes. Using the Ebonite Stinger Pearl, Pappy, who averages around 220, rolled his 30th career 800+ series. Great shooting, buddy.
