Tom Coraci was vying for back-to-back-to-back 800 series. Fittingly, the 8 pin got in the way.
After shooting 808 the previous week, Coraci did it again, firing off games of 242, 277 and 287 for the 806 series last week in the Tuesday Early Men League at Port Jeff Bowl. Using the Hammer Widow Ghost, Coraci, who averages 223 in the league, rolled his 20-something career 800+ series.
Then, this past Tuesday, he had a chance at it again, shooting games of 235, 300 and 238 for the 773, a stone 8 pin away from his 3rd consecutive 800 series. Same league. Same house. Same ball. Guy is good.
