The Mayor's Office released mandated guidelines earlier today on which businesses would be required to basically force patrons to show vaccination cards in order to enter the premises... and bowling centers are on the list.
According to the guidelines, while the mandate will begin this Tuesday, August 17th, the rules will be fully enforced as of September 13th. Furthermore, businesses caught not complying could face $1,000 penalties and individuals caught using forged or fake vaccination cards could face criminal charges.
These guidelines are only in effect for bowling centers and businesses in the New York City area. These are not in effect for Long Island or New Jersey businesses.
