For this guy, it truly was a matter of time.
A huge congratulations to Aj Rice for shooting a perfect 900 Series earlier today during the 10am squad of the Superbowl Handicap Team Shootout at Paradise Lanes in Spartanburg, SC. Rice, who generally averages close to 250 in league play, rolled the back-to-back-to-back 300 games during the first 3 games of the tournament using the Hammer NU bowling ball. If the USBC recognizes it as a 900 Series, it would be the 41st such occurrence in the history of bowling. Rice, whose previous high series was 895 rolled in 2018, needed the first strike in the tenth frame of the third game to break the center high series. He did it and then some.
Great shooting, Aj.
